GP - Round 6 of TRAIL PROS SXCS Series
What is the Sprint Cross Country Series? TRAIL PROS SXCS was founded by Billy and Nancy Schlag with the intentions to bring more crossover racing to the Mid-Atlantic region. Billy, a lifelong motocrosser – with an extensive resume as an amateur and then moving through the Pro ranks did not give off-road much consideration early on. It actually was not until 2013 he finally got a taste for it – spending more time, getting properly set up led to really enjoying it. Looking back now he wishes he had started off-road earlier because he feels it has made him a better overall rider and the experiences have been incredibly rewarding. One of the things that make SXCS stand out is that the series gives you three different disciplines within the 8 rounds . . .Cross Country, GP and SPRINT CROSS. There will also be two throwaways for all classes which will give more opportunities to racers to follow the SXCS Series as well as other local series.
Test your skills on Saturday riding and racing the GP series hosted by Trail Pros. GP racing is a mix of motocross along with fast and flowy portions of a cross country course. There will be two 30-minute motos which will be combined to get your overall score.
*Annual Kevin Crine Classic is a non-profit event. TRAIL PROS SXCS Series is ran as a separate entity.
